Frontier Airlines is launching six new routes with nonstop service from its Denver hub to Bakersfield, California; Missoula, Montana; Idaho Falls, Idaho and Sioux City, Iowa (SUX); and seasonal service from its Chicago Midway hub to Knoxville, Tennessee and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The Bakersfield service will start on 16 May while the other five routes will commence on 12 June.
Frequencies for a number of existing routes from Denver have also been increased. Branson (BKG), Bozeman (BZN), Durango (DRO) and Memphis (MEM) will be served daily. Atlanta (ATL), Cincinnati (CVG), Cleveland (CLE) and Detroit (DTW) will see service increased from daily to 11-14 flights a week.
“We are excited to offer these six new routes to customers, just in time for summer travel,” explained Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice-president, commercial. “Travellers will enjoy our ultra-low fares and travel options as they book their summer travel. This summer we will offer the most nonstop destinations from Denver that we’ve ever served in our 20 year history. In Chicago, we are bringing great prices and nonstop flights to routes without any low-fare service.”
