Shareholders agree to €150m funding for airBaltic

The shareholders of airBaltic have agreed to an injection of €153 million in new capital financed by its two main shareholders, the Latvian government and Baltic Aviation Systems (BAS), with the finalisation of technical details set be completed by 4 October.The Latvian and BAS finally reached agreement to jointly inject the capital with the former securing €81.9 million (LVL 57.6m), while BAS will secure €71.1 million (approximately LVL 50m).
