tCommutAir has announced that Sean Frick is to replace Missy Kelsen as chief financial officer.
ttFrick will become responsible for all finance, accounting, treasury and control functions once Kelsen retires during the first quarter of 2017.
His responsibilities at previous airlines including ATA Airlines, World Airways and North American Airlines include finances, planning and analysis, project management, aircraft transactions and marketing leadership. He also led the Airline Marketing team at Bombardier Aerospace.
“Sean’s domain and functional knowledge is valuable of course, but his experience in high growth and metamorphosing environments will help us manage our torrid Embraer ERJ145 expansion,” commented Subodh Karnik, CommutAir’s president and CEO.
Frick joined CommutAir earlier this year and had been focused on ensuring the company’s readiness for the acceptance of 40 Embraer ERJ145 aircraft – thereby tripling its fleet – under a new United Express flying partner agreement.
He will be part of the leadership team that will create the infrastructure, establish the financing, and design the environment that will attract the hundreds of pilots and other professionals to propel this growth.
