Scoot has begun service from Singapore to Osaka via Bangkok using Boeing 787s, to be followed by flights to Osaka via Kaohsiung on 9 July, bringing the total number of Scoot destinations to 15 in 7 countries.
"Scoot is thrilled to offer travellers the historical and culinary delights of Osaka, and the natural scenic beauty of Kaohsiung. We're excited to bring our Osaka and Kaohsiung guests the Scoot experience – brand-new aircraft, a huge selection of frills, and unbeatable value airfares," said Scoot CEO, Campbell Wilson.
Following up on these routes, Scoot will begin Dreamliner service to Taipei and Tokyo in September. A total of 11 Dreamliners will be delivered to Scoot by the end of March 2016. The new fleet growth with the 787 will allow Scoot to increase frequencies to popular destinations and add new cities to the network.
