Scoot is to add a second Taiwanese destination, Kaohsiung, to its network from 9 July 2015, operating non-stop three times a week using Scoot's new Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
"Singaporeans simply love Taiwan, but there's so much more to Taiwan than just Taipei. Scoot is therefore delighted to launch a direct service between Singapore and Kaohsiung, Taiwan's second city. With Scoot's unbeatable airfares and our brand-new Boeing 787 Dreamliners, there's no better reason to get outta here and enjoy Kaohsiung's food and night-markets, its historical sites such as the Old City of Zuoying, or the surrounding countryside including beautiful Kenting National Park." said Campbell Wilson, CEO of Scoot.
Flights will leave Singapore on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 07:55 and reach Kaohsiung at 12:10. In the opposite direction, take off – on the same days – is at 21:30 with arrival back in Singapore on the following weekday at 01:50 (all times local).
