UAC (United Aircraft Corporation), the parent company of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCAC), and Sberbank Leasing are planning the joint promotion of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 in both Russian and international markets, following the signing of a Memorandum of Intent join collaboration.
The joint venture will consolidate SCAC expertise in aircraft design, manufacturing and technical support with the knowledge of Sberbank Leasing Group in the market for operating leases.
“As of today, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 is the most state-of-the-art aircraft built in Russia. We believe that this aircraft has a very good [prospects] in the sphere of leasing,” commented Dmitry Eroshok, general director of Sberbank Leasing. “Working with Russia-made aircraft is one of the priority areas of Sberbank Leasing operations. At the moment we are ready to offer one of the most favourable terms and conditions for financial and operating leasing of these aircraft.”
Andrey Kalinovskiy, president of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, added, “Collaboration with Sberbank Leasing offers great long-term opportunities for the project, because the extensive branch network of our partners will open a new window of opportunity to jointly promote the Sukhoi Superjet 100 not only in the Russian market but also in international markets.”
