Aviation consultancy Ascend has reported an overrun by a Satena Embraer ERJ 145LR at Mitu, Fabio A Leon Bentley airport, Colombia.
The Ascend report says that the aircraft, FAC1173/HK-4536 (msn 14500879 built 2005) sustained substantial damage after it overran the runway on landing and stopped on soft wet ground. The undercarriage collapsed.
Photos of the aircraft show the thrust reversers on the Rolls-Royce AE3007 engines fully deployed.
According to Ascend, the four crew and 37 passengers were uninjured in the accident which happened in daylight (10:20 local time, 5 May). The aircraft was operating a flight from Villavicencio, Colombia.
