Ryanair reported carrying 10.8m passengers during September 2016, marking a 13% increase year-over year from 9.5 million.
This resulted in a load factor increase of one percentage point to 95% across the same respective periods.
Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs remarked, “As our recent guidance confirmed, we expect average fares to fall by between 10% to 12% in the 6 months to March 2017, so there’s never been a better time to book a low fare
flight on Ryanair.”
The carrier’s rolling annual traffic to September 2016 has grown by 16% year-over-year to 113.2m passengers.
