Ryanair’s has released booked passenger and load factor statistics for September 2010.
The number of booked seats sold by Ryanair for September, which may not equal the number of passengers carried, rose by 12% from 6.12 million to 6.84 million. The total sold in the 12 months to the end of September 2010 was 71.6 million.
The load factor in September was 86%, a 1 percentage point increase on Sptember 2009’s result of 85%. Over the 12 months to 30 September 2010, the average load factor for the airline was 82%.
The year-to-date booked passenger and load factor figures include up to 1.45 million passengers who were booked on flights cancelled in April due to the closures of parts of EU airspace following the volcanic eruptions in Iceland.
