Ryanair returns to Manchester with 4 extra routes

Ryanair has announced four new routes from Manchester to Alicante, Faro, Madrid and Tenerife and increased frequencies on its Dublin route from four to six flights daily, 15 months after cutting nine out of 10 routes it operated from the northern England airport.

The flights begin on 14 April and Ryanair says they will help it to grow to more than 600,000 passengers in 2011 at Manchester Airport, sustaining 600 jobs.

Ryanair has also announced a new twice-weekly service from Humberside Airport to Alicante starting on 12 April.
