Ryanair has announced the number of booked seats it sold for October 2010.
For the month, the figure stood at 7.0 million, up 14% on the 6.2 million in October 2009. The monthly load factor stayed constant year-on-year at 85%.
At the end of October, the total passenger ticket sales for 2010 had reached 72.5 million and the load factor over the 10 month period was 82%.
The year to date booked passenger figures include up to 1.45 million passengers who were booked on flights which were cancelled due to EU airspace closure during the volcanic eruptions in Iceland in April and May 2010.
