Ryanair has announced its UK route to Corfu with a twice weekly London Stansted service beginning in July 2011.
The carrier now has four Greek connections from the UK –London Stansted to/from Corfu, Rhodes and Thessaloniki and Liverpool to/from Kos.
Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara commented, “Ryanair is delighted to deliver yet another summer sun route from London Stansted. Greek tourism has been strangled by high fare airlines and greedy tour operators who have been making out like bandits in the absence of a low-fare airline to deliver the competition that Greek tourism needs.”
