Ryanair has released its February 2014 traffic statistics, featuring an extra 300,000 booked passengers compared with February 2013 results.
The airline booked 4.5 million customers in February compared with 4.2 million last February. The load factor increased 1% to 78% compared with that in February 2013.
Passengers booked for the full 12 months to the end of February 2014 rose to 81.9 million, an increase of 3%. The load factor for that 12 month period was 83%.
Ryanair’s head of communications Robin Kiely commented, “Ryanair traffic grew in February thanks to the success of our lower fares, our easier-to-use website and our recent customer service improvements including allocated seats for all customers and the use of personal electronic devices on all flights. Further improvements will be rolled out over the coming months as Ryanair continues to lower prices and improve our customer service.”
