Ryanair carries 10.4m passengers during August

Ryanair has released its passenger numbers for August 2015, reporting a 10% increase from the 9.4m passengers carried in August 2014 to 10.4m for the same period this year, which has resulted in a load factor increase of two percentage points from 93% to 95%.
The carrier’s rolling annual traffic to August has also increased by 15% and currently stands at 96.3m.
“These record monthly numbers and load factors are due to our lower fares, our stronger forward bookings and the continuing success of our ‘Always Getting Better’ customer experience programme, which continues to deliver stronger than expected traffic and load factors on our biggest ever summer schedule,” noted Ryanair’s Kenny Jacobs.
