Ryanair announces summer 2017 schedule for Girona

Ryanair has launched its Girona summer 2017 schedule, with nine new routes to Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow Prestwick, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Newcastle and Oradea.There will also be extra flights to London Stansted taking the frequency to six a week. The airline says these developments, equating to growth at Girona of 19%, will help deliver 1.4 million customers a year and support around 1,000 jobs at the airport.Ryanair will continue to connect Girona with major leisure and business centres on high frequency, low-fare services including Brussels (8 a week), Dublin (5 a week) and London (6 a week), with better timings and lower fares.Ryanair’s chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs commented, “We are pleased to launch our Girona summer 2017 schedule. Customers can look forward to even lower fares when they make advance bookings for summer 2017. As our recent guidance confirmed, Ryanair expects average fares to fall by between 10% to 12% in the six months to March 2017. There’s never been a better time to book a low fare flight on Ryanair.”
