Republic Airways Holdings has reported its preliminary passenger traffic results for May 2015, logging 1,005,796,000 revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in May, which is 2% fewer than the 1,027,414,000 in May 2014.
The company also had a 1% reduction in available seat miles (ASMs) from 1,240,755,000 to 1,231,380,000 for the respective periods. Block hours declined 3% to 61,600, and the load factor decreased 1 percentage point compared with the same period last year – from 83% to 82%.
Nonetheless, Republic Airways carried 2,018,684 passengers during the month, an increase of 1% compared with the 1,996,906 carried in May 2014.
