Republic Airways Holdings has reported preliminary March 2012 passenger traffic results.
The company generated 1,809,677,000 revenue passenger miles (RPMs), which was basically in line with the 1,801,631,000 in the same month last year, on a decrease in available seat miles (ASMs) of 2% at 2,251,139,000 from 2,296,720,000.
The consolidated load factor was up 2 percentage points at 80% in March of 2012 versus 78% in the same month last year. The company carried 2,615,308 passengers during the month, which was 2% lower than the 2,668,803 carried last March.
Block hours were 79,910 in March 2012, a decrease of 5% from March 2011.
