On 14 September 2016, Pulkovo Saint Petersburg Airport met the first flight performed by Saratov Airlines to the city after a seven-year break.
From now on, the carrier will operate thrice-weekly services on two routes, Saint Petersburg–Saratov and Saint Petersburg–Volgograd, using a 114-seat Embraer 190 aircraft.
The outbound flight from Saratov to Saint Petersburg will take off and land at 06:30 and 09:05 respectively, before the return leg takes off at 18:20 and arrives back in Saratov at 21:00.
Flights from Saint Petersburg to Volgograd will depart and arrive at 10:05 and 13:00 respectively, before the return service leaves Volgograd at 14:20 and lands in Saint Petersburg at 17:20.
Both flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Saratov Airlines performs domestic and international flights using a fleet of two Embraer 190s and eight Yak-42s.
Prior to Saratov Airlines, flights from Pulkovo to Saratov were performed by Komiaviatrans; the Volgograd route had been unserved since February 2016.
