Porter Airlines has reported passenger statistics for October 2010 including a load factor increase of 4.7 percentage points.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) went up by 41.7% to 55.7 million from 39.3 million, while available seat miles (ASMs) were increased by 29.7% to 98.8 million from 76.2 million. These results helped create the load factor increase which took the October 2010 figure to 56.3% from 51.6%.
“We are seeing positive momentum continue with growth across all key measures,” remarked Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “The Thanksgiving weekend posted record passenger numbers and our team members are doing an excellent job maintaining the high levels of service that Porter has become known for as the airline expands.”
