Porter Airlines has confirmed that it has gained approval for four additional slots at Newark Liberty International Airport and will use them to increase the frequency between there and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport from nine roundtrips a day to 11 a day from 20 September.
“Greater New York has been an important, popular market for Porter since we began service in March 2008 with seven daily roundtrips,” remarked Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines. “Adding capacity at this time fits well with our growth plans.”
Connecting service via Toronto with many of Porter’s other Canadian destinations will also improve by adding more flight times throughout the day. The new flights are available for purchase.
