Pinnacle Airlines Corporation has released capacity and operational results for its three airline subsidiaries – Pinnacle Airlines, Mesaba Aviation and Colgan Air – for February 2011.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 560,995,000, a rise of 64.8% over last February’s 340,307,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased by 65.0% to 849,329,000 from 514,657,000 for the respective periods.
The load factor for the month stayed the same at 66.1%, while passenger numbers reached 1,246,785, an increase of 45.2% compared with the 858,595 passengers carried in February 2010.
The large RPM, ASM and passenger increases are primarily affected by the acquisition of Mesaba which occurred in July 2010.
