Pinnacle Airlines Corporation has released capacity and operational results for its Pinnacle Airlines, Inc. subsidiary for April 2010.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 391,408,000, a 2.9% increase over last April’s figure of 380,279,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) were only increased by 0.1% to 510,659,000 from 509,914,000 for the respective periods.
The April load factor thus rose by 2.0 percentage points to 76.6% from the 74.6% reported in April 2009. The airline carried 904,397 passengers, 3.9% more than the 870,586 carried in the same month last year.
Block hours fell to 35,091 from 35,270, a 0.5% decrease, while departures were up 1.8% to 23,143 from 22,739 in April 2009. The fleet change from April 2009 to April 2010 saw two extra CRJ200s for a total of 126 and one fewer CRJ900 for a total of 16.
