Pinnacle Airlines’ October performance data released

Pinnacle Airlines Corporation has reported capacity and operational results for its Pinnacle Airlines, Inc. subsidiary for October 2010.

Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) numbered 372,807,000 compared with 386,913,000 last October, a 3.6% decrease. Available seat miles (ASMs) were cut by 1.9% to 476,421,000 from 485,872,000.

These results created a 1.3 percentage point drop in the load factor to 78.3% from October 2009’s 79.6%. The number of passengers carried was also down, by 0.8% to 926,944 from 934,740.

Block hours fell by 2.5% to 33,973 from 34,831, although departures were up 0.3% at 22,586 compared with 22,519 in the same period last year.
