Pegasus reveals financial results for first nine months of 2015

Pegasus Airlines’ financial results for the first nine months of 2015 include a 14% year-on-year increase in sales revenue, which has reached 2.7 billion TL.The carrier also achieved an operational profit before tax, interest, amortization and rent costs of 636.6 million TL, an increase of 22% in comparison to the first nine months of 2014. Its cost per available seat kilometre decreased by 2% to 3.93 Euro cents.Pegasus carried 16.84 million guests during the period, translating to a year-on-year increase of 12.1%, while it also increased block hours by 15.6% to 205,839 across the same respective timescales.The first nine months of 2015 saw the airline operate 114,267 flights – 66,844 on domestic routes and 47,423 on its international network – marking a year-on-year increase of 13.7%. During this time, Pegasus added international services to London Gatwick, Oslo, Kutaisi, Erbil and Ovda and domestic services to Kastamonu, Ordu-Giresun and Kars.
