Olympic Air has announced the successful commencement of its new service between Thessaloniki and London Gatwick.
The new route operates on five days each week with flight number OA284 departing every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10:25 from London Gatwick’s South Terminal and arriving in Thessaloniki at 15:40. Flights in the opposite direction, OA283, depart from Thessaloniki at 07:55, reaching London Gatwick at 09:25 (all times local with Thessaloniki two hours ahead of London).
Flights are being operated with Airbus A319s configured with 120 economy class seats and 12 business class seats.
The airline believes that the market of Northern Greece is of strategic importance for the reinforcement of the Greek economy and tourism and notes that it has given considerable attention to the planning of its routes in this market.
