Firefly reports that its operations between Koh Samui and Kuala Lumpur Subang Airport is back to normal after the recent closure of Koh Samui Airport due to severe flooding.
Head of marketing and communications, Angelina Fernandez, commented, “We are glad to note that operations between Subang and Koh Samui were back as scheduled immediately upon notification from airport authorities on the opening of the airport. During this period, Firefly mounted an extra flight, rescuing stranded passengers to ensure that they arrive at their intended destination, considering their safety and comfort at all times.
“We understand the inconvenient situation of these passengers and would like convey our sincere appreciation to them for being very patient and co-operative throughout the unavoidable situation,” she added.
Firefly operates between its hub in Subang and Koh Samui, seven times a week.
