From June this year, easyJet will be increasing its existing connections to and from Manchester, with flights three days per week throughout the year. The company is seeking to boost the appeal of the French Riviera within the UK, the largest source of tourists visiting the region.

From 16 June, passengers will have the benefit of a third airline for holiday visits or business trips. The arrival of easyJet on this route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays by A320, means Nice Côte d’Azur will now offer a total of 10 flights per week.

With the opening of this new route, easyJet now has 41 destinations from or to Nice, including nine to the UK.

The UK is the largest percentage of overseas travellers to Nice Côte d’Azur airport, representing 11% of the passengers, 55% for tourism, 26% to visit family and 19% for business.
