NextJet renews OASES deal with Commsoft

Commsoft has signed a new three-year contract for 15 concurrent users with Swedish regional airline, NextJet.
To support its fleet of 10 Saab 340s, Next Jet plans to migrate to the latest AMP version of OASES sometime during 2014 and will be making full use of Commsoft’s implementation support, also linking OASES with the PDC operations system interface.
Designed to combine ease of use with a technical sophistication that allows for the full integration of all maintenance and engineering functions, Commsoft’s OASES is structured in a modular format and NextJet has selected five of the module options – Core, Airworthiness, Planning, Materials and Line Maintenance Control.
“We’re delighted that NextJet has signed a new contract with us to continue, and enhance, its use of OASES,” commented Nick Godwin, MD of Commsoft. “This was more than a formality and the fact that we faced genuine competition is further evidence of the real added value benefits that OASES can bring to all types of MRO operation.”
Sverre Rosmark, director continuing airworthiness of NextJet, remarked, “We are looking forward to benefitting from the new AMP version of OASES and to working closely with Commsoft. OASES offers the right commercial and technical flexibility for NextJet’s demanding needs, supporting the tough regional marketplace in Sweden.”
