Wizz Air is to launch a new thrice-weekly route from Brno in the Czech Republic to London-Luton on 16 December and increase the frequency on its existing Prague service to London-Luton to nine a week from 31 October.
During the winter peak from 19 December to 16 January, Wizz Air will operate two additional flights on the Prague route to accommodate holiday traffic.
Attila Dankovics, head of marketing and customer experience, Wizz Air, remarked, “We are extremely delighted with the progress of our operations in the Czech Republic, and are well on track to take over the market leadership in the near future. While some airlines are closing down routes and decreasing capacity, we continue to grow allowing more and more passengers to enjoy our truly low fares coupled with excellent travel. This is a further proof for the robust fundamentals of our business model.”
