Keith Slotter has been appointed vice-president of security at JetBlue, a role in which he will oversee security risk management, investigations, TSA regulatory compliance and all other security support services.
Joining the airline from his previous position as head of staff security at Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund, Slotter will report to Warren Christie, JetBlue’s senior VP of regulatory and training.
Christie proffered, “Nothing is more important to JetBlue than the safety and security of our crewmembers and customers. As a respected and accomplished leader in the security industry, we are very pleased to welcome Keith to the JetBlue team. His nearly three decades of leadership will be a tremendous asset to our airline and our culture of safety.”
Before moving more specifically into security, Slotter worked for the FBI for over two decades. He is a graduate of the Arizona State University, and received the US Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Service and Lifetime Achievement in 2010.
