JetBlue Airways has appointed Warren Christie as vice-president, JetBlue University, moving form the role of director of technical training responsible for flight, technical operations and system operations crewmember training.
In his new role, Christie will lead the official learning organisation for JetBlue, and will report to the value airline’s chief operating officer, Rob Maruster.
“Warren has demonstrated great leadership at JetBlue University since he joined the company in 2003,” noted Maruster. “His greatest contribution, however, has been his dedication to providing world-class education to the crewmembers of JetBlue Airways. His expertise, combined with his passion for serving JetBlue crewmembers, will serve us very well as we enter our second decade.”
