Silver Airways has appointed David Lindskoog as its new vice-president of flight operations, a strengthening, stated the airline, of its commitment to safety and operational excellence.
An airline executive with 32 years of FAR Part 121 airline operations experience, Lindskoog has served as a pilot, chief pilot, director of standards and training, and vice-president of flight operations at ATA Airlines, North American Airlines, and most recently at Copa Airlines where he helped the airline grow its fleet from 43 to 85 aircraft flying 230 flights a day.
“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Dave’s calibre join our flight operations,” said Dave Pflieger, President and CEO of Silver Airways. “David not only understands flight operations, he also knows the airline business and brings the knowledge and expertise we need to enhance the calibre and tempo of our operations for both our customers and for our employees.”
