Wizz Air is to establish its 14th operating base in Vilnius, Lithuania, initially deploying one brand new Airbus A320 there from 16 April 2011.
Concurrently, Wizz Air will launch eight new routes from Vilnius. On 16 April it will begin services to Cork (2 flight/week), Stockholm Skavsta (3/week) and Rome-Fiumicino (3/week). The following day flights will start to London Luton (5/week), Doncaster-Sheffield (2/week) and Milan Bergamo (2/week). Finally on 18 April, services to Eindhoven (2/week) and Barcelona (2/week) will commence.
