Tiger Aviation Group has announced that Andrew David will become the new chief executive of Tiger Airways Australia succeeding Tony Davis, who has decided to leave the company after leading its return to flight operations following its suspension by the country’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
David will take up his role on 17 October ahead of Davis’s official departure which will take place at the end of October.
Between February 2005 and November 2010, David was chief operating officer at Virgin Blue. Before that he held a number of management roles at Air New Zealand.
