Frontier Airlines plans to add nonstop seasonal service between Branson, MO, and both Austin, TX and Phoenix, AZ to its route map.
The Branson–Austin service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 16 September until 14 December. The Branson–Phoenix service will operate on Saturdays from 17 September through to 10 December.
The service to Austin will be operated with 50-seat Embraer ERJ 145s, while the Phoenix service will utilise 138-seat Airbus A319s.
“Branson is a great family-friendly entertainment destination that our customers have really responded to,” commented Daniel Shurz, vice-president of strategy and planning for Frontier. “We’re delighted to have found the opportunity to add more routes into Branson and deliver our high-quality, affordable service.” Frontier already serves Denver and Milwaukee nonstop from Branson.
