Norwich Airport will add Malaga, Alicante and Chambery to its winter schedules with the beginning of new services to those destinations operated by Flybe from 31 October.
The carrier’s new winter timetable will see two scheduled flights a week to both Alicante and Malaga, with a new Saturday service to Chambery starting in mid-December. These are in addition to its recently-launched Exeter service through the winter months.
The new flights will be operated with 118-seat Embraer 195s and result from the partnership between the airline and Regional & City Airports (RCA), the airport management division of Rigby Group, which owns Norwich Airport.
Richard Pace, general manager at Norwich Airport, remarked, “The partnership between RCA and Flybe means the new sunshine routes will operate year-round and we are delighted to be adding the popular ski resort of Chambery to our winter schedule. With the addition of regular flights to Exeter, Norwich Airport is offering one of its best winter schedules for years.”
