From 18 December, Allegiant will operate a direct twice-weekly service between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS).
The announcement comes only a month after Allegiant launched routes from CVG to both Fort Lauderdale and Phoenix/Mesa, and brings the number of services the airline provides at CVG to seven. “Allegiant is thrilled to announce an additional vacation destination for Cincinnati residents,” remarked Andrew Levy, Allegiant Travel Company president and COO. “We know Las Vegas is a popular destination for local travellers, and we look forward to offering a low-fare alternative to get there nonstop from CVG."
Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport says this continues the trend of “CVG being the fastest growing origination market in Allegiant’s 15 year history”.
