bmi regional has appointed Jochen Schnadt as chief commercial officer (CCO), a role which puts him in charge of developing the airline’s commercial strategy along with overseeing a team of 35 staff within the marketing, sales, product development and customer service departments.
Peter Simpson, group CEO of bmi regional's parent AIL, commented, “Jochen is a man with a great deal of airline experience and brings with him the strong skills and drive needed to ensure continual development of our airline as we strive to grow a stronger presence and market share within the industry. We’ve already had an extremely successful year in delivering the airline’s sustainable growth strategy which has seen bmi regional add seven new routes to its network in 2015, and we look forward to Jochen continuing this legacy. We are delighted to welcome him on board our already very strong team.”
Schnadt has over 20 years experience in the aviation industry, having held both permanent and consultancy roles at Monarch Airlines, Aer Lingus, Virgin, British Airways and Flybe. He specialises in revenue development, customer engagement and strategy development.
