Wizz Air has announced a new Budapest route to Donetsk, Ukraine, which will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays from 30 April 2014.
With the addition of the Donetsk route, Wizz Air’s Hungarian network will expand to a total of 37 routes in 2014.
Wizz Air spokesman, Daniel de Carvalho, commented, "As the hometown airline of Budapest, Wizz Air continues to stimulate Hungarian air traffic with very low fares and a growing route network. We expect to attract both Hungarian business and leisure travellers on the discovery of yet another eastbound Wizz Air route, while offering Ukrainian consumers an affordable access to Hungary as a great tourism destination. Also many Ukrainians will use Budapest as a gateway to Europe.”
