Leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital has purchased two ATR 42-500s from ATRiam Capital of Ireland.
NAC is currently the largest turboprop lessor in the world and is marking its 20th birthday in 2010. The company provides aircraft to carriers such as American Airlines, Lufthansa, US Airways, SAS, Flybe, TACA and other major regional carriers including Widerøe and TRIP Linhas Aéreas.
The lessor’s current fleet of over 130 aircraft includes, ATR 42, ATR 72, Bombardier Dash 8, CRJ200, Boeing 737, MD-83, Fokker 50 and Saab 2000 aircraft.
