Boeing Material and Services has announced that it is expanding its landing gear overhaul and exchange programme to cover the 777-200LR, 777 Freighter and 777-300ER aircraft providing increased landing gear support.
The Boeing subsidiary already provides landing gear overhaul and exchange on MD-11s, Boeing Business Jet, 737NG, 747-400ER, 757-300, 767-300ER and the 777-200ER aircraft.
Using the global network of Boeing repair service centres, airline customers will receive certified landing gear support anywhere around the world from Boeing. The company says it provides quick, reliable access to landing gear repair, exchanges and overhauls, which greatly reduces maintenance time and quickly returns their aeroplanes to revenue service.
