Mesa Air Group has announced that in August 2010, Mesa Airlines led all regional airlines in three key statistics reported by the US Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics, as reported in the October Air Travel Consumer Report.
The Report shows that Mesa achieved the highest on-time performance, had the fewest mishandled bags and had the fewest complaints on a per passenger basis of all reporting regional airlines.
“This outstanding result is a tremendous credit to our dedicated and hard working people,” said Jonathan Ornstein, chairman and chief executive of Mesa. “We also greatly appreciate the support of our partners, US Airways and United Airlines, who have worked with us co-operatively to achieve this level of operational excellence.”
