Mesa Air Group has announced the appointment of Christopher Pappaioanou as president of go!, the company’s low-cost inter-island division in Hawaii.
Pappaioanou has served a variety of roles within Mesa’s legal and human resources departments since joining the company in 2001, having first started his career with the airline as a ramp agent in Telluride, CO, and serving most recently as vice-president & general counsel.
Mesa has also announced Brian Gillman’s return as executive vice-president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Mesa Air Group. Gillman previously held those positions from 2001 to 2011.
“We are delighted to have Chris in his new role guiding the team at go!. We are confident that his leadership, dedication and hard work will be a welcomed addition. Given his diverse background over his years at Mesa, Chris is particularly well suited to tackle the many tasks he will have at go! as president,” commented Jonathan Ornstein, Mesa Air Group chairman and CEO. “We also offer a very warm welcome to our old friend Brian in his return as the airline’s chief legal officer. Brian has done a tremendous job in the past, and we look forward to his participation on the Mesa team.”
