Marilake Aerosystems, based in Dorset, UK, has announced an increase in its in-house ATR avionics and instrumentation repair capabilities.
In response to increases demand from customers and new enquiries from ATR operators, MRO providers and parts stockists, Marilake has strengthened its capabilities across the ATR 42 and ATR 72 regional turboprop family to cover a significant range of engine, navigation and gyroscopic instruments. All work is performed at the the avionics and instrument repair specialists’ Ferndown facility which has EASA, FAA and TCCA certification.
“Marilake understands the importance of providing affordable, reliable and quick repair solutions for all its customers and we have offered a range of capability on the ATR for many years,” noted managing director, Gerry Griffiths. “However, the latest additions to our in-house offering mark a continued investment in this aircraft platform and more will follow as demand increases. ATR operators select the aircraft for its economies and the more capability that independent MROs such as Marilake can offer across the platform, the more cost-effective it is in the long run for the airline.”
