March 2014 traffic stats announced by Great Lakes Aviation

Great Lakes Aviation has reported its preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of March 2014.

Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) fell by 58.2% to 5,004,000 from 11,959,000 in March 2013. Available seat miles (ASMs), however, were cut by 62.3% to 11,587,000 from 30,699,000.

Despite the number of passengers carried during March 2014 falling 58.0% to 17,200 from 40,969 last March, the load factor rose by 4.2 percentage points to 43.2% from 39.0%.
