Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) has signed a base maintenance agreement with Evelop Airlines.
The Palma Majorca-based carrier is a new customer for MAEL, which will carry out the first hangar maintenance check for Evelop’s Airbus A330. All the maintenance work will be carried out at Monarch’s facility at Birmingham Airport.
Neil Kirby, sales manager at MAEL, said: “We are very happy to have secured Evelop Airlines as a new customer for our Birmingham facility. This yet again demonstrates our ability to secure new business in an extremely competitive market.”
Javier Moragues, technical director at Evelop Airlines, added: “With their 50 years’ experience in the industry, I am delighted we have signed a contract with Monarch Aircraft Engineering for our upcoming Airbus A330 check.”
