Bombardier Commercial Aircraft and Luxair have signed a deal for the airline to purchase three Q400 NextGen aircraft and take options two more of the type.
The purchase is part of a renewal plan that will increase Luxair's fleet to 10 Q400s as it replaces regional jets.
"Our Q400 NextGen aircraft have proven to be a winning formula for Luxair as we continue to replenish our fleet with the newest, most modern turboprops that are providing maximum flexibility to our business clients; and quality travel at affordable prices to our leisure customers," commented Adrien Ney, president and chief executive officer, Luxair. "The addition of more Q400 NextGen aircraft is an ideal solution as we open more regional routes and expand frequencies."
