Passengers on flights operated by Loganair will soon be able to benefit from real-time departure and arrival information following the relaunch of the airline’s website.
The Flybe franchise carrier has invested in new technology to link its operational monitoring systems to the website, thus providing up-to-date flight information online.
Jonathan Hinkles, Loganair’s commercial director, explained, “We’re delighted to unveil our revamped website, which now offers visitors access to much more accurate and timely flight information. Our information system also includes details for dedicated flights which Loganair operates to carry newspapers and mail throughout the Highlands and Islands, helping communities to stay informed of the whereabouts of the day’s deliveries.”
The website announcement coincides with the airline’s services to and from Glasgow Airport being named as the city’s most punctual flights in August. The newly-release league table of services operated at the airport shows that 93.8% of Loganair flights departed on time compared to the airport’s average of 80.4%.
