Monarch Aircraft Engineering has announced the expansion of its line maintenance stations and current scope of approvals.
With immediate effect, the company has opened four new seasonal stations at Glasgow, Dublin, Edinburgh and Cork providing technical handling maintenance up to but not including A checks for Monarch Airlines and third-party customers.
In addition, Monarch Aircraft Engineering has gained UK CAA/EASA Part 145 line maintenance approval on Embraer 170/190 at the company’s established station in Malaga.
Commenting on the capability development, Derek Gibson, maintenance and operations director for Monarch Aircraft Engineering, remarked, “The growth into these new locations plus the extension of our capability into new aircraft types fits with our strategy to grow the business and attract new business.”
