Frédéric Lefebvre (pictured) has been appointed vice-president, marketing, regional airlines at Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC), replacing Richard Dussault who retired in January after 35+ years with P&WC.
In his new position, Lefebvre will lead product marketing and sales activities as well as aftermarket support services dedicated to existing and new programmes as well as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers. He previously led technology development at P&WC and managed engineering operations at the company’s affiliate in Rzeszów, Poland.
While Dussault had APU marketing in his remit, that part of the portfolio will be overseen by Marty Kessell, currently vice-president and general manager of Pratt & Whitney Aero Power, who will lead the completion of the APU transition from Pratt & Whitney Aero Power to P&WC as previously announced. Kessell will therefore lead the sales, marketing and aftermarket support for APUs. He will be responsible for all strategic, operational and customer activities for the full range of commercial APUs.
